Background
Today the world is faced with several environmental challenges. On the left they is a snapshot description of some of these challenges: Air pollution: global climate change, stratospheric ozone depletion, urban air pollution, acid deposition, outdoor pollutants, indoor pollutants and noise pollution. Biodiversity depletion: habitat destruction and degradation, and extinction. Water pollution: sediments, nutrient overload, toxic chemicals, infectious agents, oxygen depletion, pesticides, oil spills, and excess heat. Waste production: solid waste, and hazardous waste. As humans, we depend on nature for everything we use including food, air and water. We should therefore strive to prevent environmental impacts and also provide solutions. This is fundamental if we will be able to preserve the environment for our current needs and those in the future. This is where the concept of sustainable development comes in.
Sustainable Development is defined as the development that meets the needs of current generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own. It is also about improving the quality of human life while living within the carrying capacity of supporting eco-systems. Its purpose is to act as a conceptual solution for solving global environmental consequences caused by unbalanced development between environment and socio-economic development. And its goal is to establish and maintain sustainable development pattern of the earth, each country, or a human-natural ecosystem’s development pattern. On the same view, eco buzz waste management has been formed to provide professional sustainable waste management services.
